Dr. Jaume Masià
This lecture will take place on Friday April 5th, 2024 at 7:30am at Women’s College Hospital Main Auditorium. We are fortunate to have Dr. Jaume Masià from Barcelona, Spain. Dr. Masià is a renowned specialist in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, and is the director of the Advanced Breast Reconstructive Service and the Integrated Lymphoedema Treatment Unit in Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau. He has introduced the most innovative micro-surgical breast reconstruction and Lymphoedema techniques in Spain since 2000, situating Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau as the flagship Spanish centre for Lymphoedema treatment and breast reconstruction.
Dr. Masià will be presenting a talk titled “Lymphatic Surgery for Postmastectomy.” A formal notice will go out from the Dept of Surgery closer to the event but please mark your calendars in the meantime. We encourage you to plan to attend in person.
