Dr. Adam Mosa received his medical degree from Queen’s University School of Medicine, where he received the Canadian Medical Hall of Fame Award for Medical Students in 2016. He then completed Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery residency training at the University of Toronto. During this time, he was recognized with numerous teaching awards at hospital, university, and national levels, including the American Council of Academic Plastic Surgeons Outstanding Resident Teacher Award in 2022. He completed a residency rotation in Rochester, MN at the Mayo Clinic with a focus on learning facial reanimation surgery. Dr. Mosa then completed an orthopaedic hand, peripheral nerve, and microsurgery fellowship at the Washington University School of Medicine and Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. Before attending medical school, he obtained his MSc in Neuroscience from the University of Toronto.

Dr. Mosa’s clinical practice is focused on paediatric hand surgery, trauma, peripheral nerve, brachial plexus birth injury, congenital limb differences, microsurgical reconstruction, and facial reanimation. His research program focuses on applications for point-of-care musculoskeletal ultrasound in pediatric plastic surgery and developing a congenital limb difference outcomes registry in Canada. He is certified as a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada in Plastic Surgery.
