Dr. Mary-Helen Mahoney is a Lecturer in the Department of Surgery, Division of Plastic, Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgery at the University of Toronto. She is on staff at North York General Hospital, where she specializes in breast reconstruction and breast surgery. She is the Site Chief for the Plastic Surgery Residency Training Program at NYGH. Her practice also includes skin cancers, hand surgery, and aesthetic surgery.
Dr. Mahoney graduated from the University of Western Ontario Faculty of Medicine in 2006, where she received the General Proficiency Price for Academic Excellence. She subsequently completed her residency training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Toronto in 2011.
Dr. Mahoney has an active interest in the availability of immediate breast reconstruction and clinical outcomes in breast reconstruction.
